Karhu Fusion Ortix Mens
The new Karhu Fusion Ortix is the second shoe shaped from more than 1 million 3D foot scans—and the comfortable fit proves that the technology works.
Karhu’s first shoe based on foot scans was the Karhu Ikoni. Engineers took insights from real Fleet Feet customers’ foot scans to craft a shoe with the ideal fit.
The redesigned Fusion is soft and comfortable right out of the box, and it works for a range of foot shapes. Fleet Feet testers ran in the new Fusion to see how the data translates into fit and how it feels on the run.
Here’s what we thought of the Karhu Fusion Ortix.
Height: Heel (36mm), Forefoot (24mm)
• AeroFoam Nova - Proprietary midsole foam: lighter, more resistant to temperature changes and better cushioning than EVA.
• Ideal Knit - Seamlessly woven upper patters placed on the Ortix lasts with zones for support, stretch and breathability
• Full-Length Fulcrum - The Full-Length Fulcrum provides a continuous guidance and protection for our most plush neutral ride.
• Ortix - Ortix is what gives KARHU “fit” which is based on data driven insights. Ortix refers to the shape of the midsole, volumes of the upper and overall measurements of the last.
• MLock - The M- logo side panels help secure the shoe around the foot while an inner booty construction ensures the tongue remains straight.
