At Runnersworld Eastcote we offer a range of shoes, varying in: brands, widths, support and heel-toe offsets. To find out what shoe suits your running style and foot shape best, we provide a gait analysis. This tool is also used by our Sports Therapist for examination and assessment of injuries and injury prevention.
Gary Telfer has been involved in competitive sport for over 30 years. A severe knee injury sustained during a competitive football match led Gary to undertake extensive rehabilitation under a physiotherapist. As part of his rehabilitation Gary joined an athletics group to improve his technique. Gary went on to compete in 400m hurdles at international level. On retiring from competing Gary has remained involved in Athletics, successfully coaching young and senior athletes, some attaining national and area champion status. Gary is a level 3 UK Athletics coach, Personal trainer, and Sports Massage Therapist with a passion for rehabilitation and improving performances at every level.
Sharon enjoyed Athletics, Netball and Hockey at School. A keen horse-rider for many years, Sharon was drawn back to running to quit smoking, using the 2007 London Marathon as a goal Sharon went on to complete another 5 marathons which drew her back to athletics. Sharon became interested in running technique to understand why runners get injured and how we can run more efficiently and , going on to qualify in Sports Massage at St Mary's University College, Strawberry Hill. Sharon has completed a Yoga Teacher Training diploma with Yoga Campus in September 2014
Phil, the store manager has been involved with Runnersworld for over 20 years moving from the original store in Rayners Lane to Eastcote in 2007.He has visited Nike Headquarters in Portland Oregon , New Balance in Flimby UK and Adidas in Germany.
Nikki has been with Runnersworld for over 10 years, also moving from the original store in Rayners Lane to Eastcote in 2007.
Hudson is a keen rugby player who has studied Sport Science and Biomechanics and likes to train on the track to improve fitness and speed.
