Dextro Energy Carbohydrate Bar
This high energy bar contains a special combination of carbohydrates consisting of short, medium and long chain carbohydrates.
This combination provides both a quick energy boost as well as a long lasting energy supply. The short and medium chain carbohydrates, such as dextrose and maltodextrin, enter the blood immediately and provide the muscle cells with instant energy.
Long chain carbohydrates, on the other hand, such as oat flakes and tapioca starch, take longer to digest and allow the blood sugar level to rise evenly. This ensures a continual supply of energy.
Optimum carbohydrate mix
The special mix of carbohydrates ensures a pleasant consistency which makes the bar very easy to chew. It is also low in fat and thus easy to digest, even during extreme exertion/sport.
