Brooks Glycerin 8 Womens
The Brooks Glycerin 8 introduces a brand new cushioning technology from Brooks - Brooks DNA. This cushioning material is designed to react to the exact amount of force applied, which in practice means it wears better than previous cushioning technologies. It works by individual molecules connected in strands and chains reacting and responding to the load placed upon them. Clever stuff, used in both the rearfoot and forefoot, resulting in brilliant impact protection and propulsion. The full-length BioMoGo insole (a highly durable yet biodegrabale material - so you're doing your bit for the environment too) works with a full-length S-257 Cushsole, a durable energy efficient midsole compound giving yet more cushioning and flexibility.
The result is truly luxurious cushioning.

Pronation Control Technology
The Glycerin is a neutral shoe, but a fairly stable one, thanks to the dual density DRB Accel (diagonal roll bar) which gives mild pronation control by helping prevent twisting movement in the midfoot. This latest edition of the Glycerin family is slightly more supportive than the Glycerin 7 or Glycerin 6, but still only suitable for those with minimal overpronation. The forefoot contains Cush Pod Construction to encourage a balanced toe-off.
Upper Materials
The mesh and lining and made from moisture managing Element fabric technology, which features superior microfibre construction to provide weather protection in a light, supple fabric that doesn't sacrifice breathability or comfort. Brooks new Profile Sockliner features in the Glycerin 8, giving an even more comfortable feel.
Outsole Technology
The Glycerin 8 uses HPR Plus, a higher durability abrasion resistant rubber to make an outsole that lasts longer.
